Programmen förbereder eleverna för vidare studier på universitetsnivå, både inom Sverige och utomlands. Föreläsare från lokala universitet och institutioner deltar även i undervisningen. International High School of the Gothenburg Region, förkortning IHGR, är en kommunal gymnasieskola i Göteborg. Majoriteten av skolans elever har en bakgrund i svensk grundskola. Cirka 70 olika nationaliteter finns representerade. Ungefär hälften av skolans elever fortsätter sina studier vid universitet utomlands, främst i Storbritannien. Skolan startade år 2002 och ägts av kommunerna i göteborgsregionen (Göteborgsregionens Kommunalförbund).
